Summertown Development

NCA were employed as project lead and coordinator for the delivery of two new modern family houses in North Oxford. Finished to an exceptional standard, the pair of semi detached properties replaced a smaller detached house which did not make efficient use of its plot. Each 5 bed house benefits from a home office at the rear garden.

The street elevation has been designed to reflect the prevailing vernacular, respecting the scale and mass established by neighbouring properties. The rear elevation introduces a palette of aluminium and fully glazed contemporary gables, which treat a traditional silhouette in a very contemporary manner. Large format sliding doors into the kitchen & dining room blur the boundaries between the interior and gardens.
