Field House

NCA have been instructed to design and deliver a bespoke family home which is to be built to Passivhaus standards. The low-slung pavilion has been designed on a grid system with two distinct blocks linked by a glazed atrium. Floor to ceiling glazing will flood the living spaces and bedrooms with natural light and the rural setting ensures that the house remains private and secluded.

A combination of lightly textured render and naturally stained timber cladding are juxtaposed by a cantilevered zinc roof which draws on the material palette of the prevailing agricultural vernacular.

Planning permission was granted in Spring 2022, with a commencement on site scheduled for the Autumn.
